About Ladies of the Lake
Ladies of the Lake are a group of over 100 women championing a healthy Lake Simcoe and its Watershed.  For the past 30 years, beautiful Lake Simcoe has been abused and neglected. Cold water fish are no longer breeding. Beaches are closing. Weeds and invasive species are rampant. Until the Ladies of the Lake arrived on the scene, most people looked the other way or felt the situation hopeless. With wit and energy, they set out to change the dynamic-and in just three years have helped make saving Lake Simcoe a priority.  The all new 2009 Ladies of the Lake Calendar  is a stunning celebration of Lake Simcoe’s interrelated natural elements: wind, water, sun, birds, plants and more.
